Clothes Closets Our Clothes Closets are an opportunity for any refugees living in Omaha to receive FREE clothing and household items.
We hold these events three times a year (for spring, summer, and winter clothing) at St. Paul UMC, 5410 Corby St. Watch our Facebook page for the next Clothes Closet, coming November 16, 2019 Winter Coats hats and gloves, new underwear and socks We'd love to have your support! Volunteers needed: Thursday, November 14, 2-5 pm to set-up. Saturday, Nov 16, 8:00 am-11:30 pm.
Tutoring Citizenship classes are offered free of charge after the Bhutanese church service at St. Paul UMC, Sundays 2pm. HomeDish Program Refugee cooks host about 20 women for food and tell their stories through interpreters. Guests contribute for their meals with the proceeds given to the chefs. This event is by invitation only but you may put your name on a list to host or attend. email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Members and partners meet four times a year in Benson to gather ideas, express needs, share successes, and be surrounded by people that are passionate about our community.
All are welcome to attend!
